Hello friends,
When I change the thickness of panel by using option Creation with FE list, only self weight has been applied to FE with new thickness. Other loads automatically not transfered. It's a bug or feature?

Not sure but seems logical to me that loads would not be replicated as loads are normally "hosted" to the contour edge (my guess ?) which would have been re-defined by creating the new panel from elements.

Hi Tony,
Also existing loads (which has been applied to first FE) is inactive.

Ahhh so you create panel from FE's, add loads, then change thickness and loads dissappear? Sounds like bug!
Like the one I get when I change thickness it defaults back to "Curtain Wall" and I have to make shell again
It is "as designed" - when creating new panel from the list of finite elements the loads assigned to panels (where the lists of loaded panels are not automatically updated - see Note) are not inherited by the new one.
One of the reasons is that the list of finite elements can contain elements from several adjacent panels. In such case it is not clear what to do when appropriate load is not applied to all of them.
Of course in practice (in more than 90% of cases I suppose) finite elements are taken from one panel. The improvement suggestion to inherit panel loads in such case was registered 🙂
Note: the loads assigned to panels, where the lists of loaded panels are automatically updated, are self-weight load for "Whole structure" and the load on contour when "Automatic panel selection in the contour plane" is active

Please notice that after the creation of panel from the list of finite elements the FE meshes of the original and new panels are automatically frozen.
