Create random shape RC section

Hi,

I'm a robot begginer, and i'm trying to create a new section on RC, but its not a retangular section.

The window of new RC beam its too limited, and only allows a retangular section.

There is any way to do a polygonal section on Robot?

Hi, You can goto Tools--->Section definition

then you can either build your section from standard shape or you can draw your section in AUTOCAD as dxf file and then import to Section definition.

Then you have to save your section into User data base so you can use it for other projects.

Mind that the section inserted from the user section database when used in a model has a default (steel) material assigned therefore you need to change it to the right one after defining a bar.
