Beam on Beam load transfer

Hi 

I am modeling a platform whose lower beams will sit on some other beams which are lying on the floor. 

My question is how do I connect the two beams, is it okay if i use Rigid links wherever the beams are bolted!? 

I got a doubt, if I use rigid links, the load transfer from the top beam to that of the lower beam will be a point load, right. I wanted it to be transfered as an UDL.

or

connect beams by serie of rigid links, not only 2

I couldn't find a section type/option to build this kind of section...Is this what you are refering !

Please tell me the procedure !

Thank you Rafal. 

One last doubt, you suggested to connect the beams using several rigid links. 

Will it matter, how I am creating the nodes for those rigid link ends. What I mean is, lets say I created the nodes by just defining a new node at the position i want and other way I splitted the beams into small small pieces and used the drag option in the beam definition. In both the methods, the nodes are created.

Now, will there be any difference in the results. Which procedure is to be followed !?
