Hi Mustafa

After selecting the elements you want to change the number and "order"

Select numbering /

Select Geometrical numbering

the step you consider is enough to count all the elements

the direction XYZ or ZXY it depends on what do you prefer

Once you have renumbered the elements (same for nodes)

you can select again the columns and renumber but now

choose standard numbering, be aware to put 1 for the first element an with the step 1

your columns will be from 1 to n, like 1,2,3,4,5,6..n

The same procedure for the beams, but keep in mind you should use n+1 for the first beam otherwise it will be overwrite the already numbered elements.

As hint : try to use different numbers for each story or level, it is better in order to "read" the results

e.g. Column 1 - column 101 - column 201 so you can easily check the internal loads

the more complex your system is, then the numbering could be crucial to interpret the results without confusion.

The same for the beams, it is easy to know after months were this beam belongs
