transferring rebar to new slab

Hello All

In my current project, i have modelled the rebar for both the upper and lower layers. the architect has decided to change the slab profile meaning there are areas that have become larger and others removed. I wanted to copy the new slabs from the arch model but i really don't want to remodel the rebar. Is there a way to transfer the area and path reinf to the new slabs.

Select all rebars, make a group, delete slab, insert new slab, explode rebar group, adjust rebars.
