if you have a 2012 Building Design Suite Premium or Ultimate, then you will get Revit 2013 as the Revit product in the Suite for 2013, which includes all Arch, Structural, and MEP tools.  And in Premium, you will get:

AutoCAD®, AutoCAD® Architecture,  AutoCAD® MEP, AutoCAD® Structural Detailing, Autodesk® Showcase®, Autodesk® SketchBook® Designer, Autodesk® Revit®, Autodesk® 3ds Max® Design, Autodesk® Navisworks® Simulate.

If you have Ultimate, you will get:

AutoCAD®, AutoCAD® Architecture, AutoCAD® MEP, AutoCAD® Structural Detailing, Autodesk® Showcase®, Autodesk® SketchBook® Designer, Autodesk® Revit®, Autodesk® 3ds Max® Design, Autodesk® Navisworks® Manage, Autodesk® Quantity Takeoff, Autodesk® Inventor®, Autodesk® Robot® Structural Analysis Professional, Autodesk® Infrastructure Modeler.

If you have an Autodesk Revit Suite, that came with Revit Arch, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Architecture, then you will get Revit Architecture 2013, which will not include the Structrual or MEP portions.

Same holds true if you had an AutoCAD MEP Suite, or a Revit Structure Suite:  you will get the singular version of Revit with those upgrades.

You will also be offered the ability to upgrade from a AutoCAD Revit Suite, to the Building Design Suites.

You are providing information about future releases of Revtit Structure Suite which has been discontiued. My reseller doesn't know what Autodesk will offer me when 2014 prroducts are released, nor did a representative from Autodesk that I chatted with recently. On the Revit Structure Suite product page on your website (and probably also the Revit Architecture Suite and Revit MEP Suite as well) the following is stated:

"New licenses of AutoCAD Revit Structure Suite are no longer being sold. AutoCAD Revit Structure Suite customers with current Autodesk® Subscription contracts will continue to receive new versions of AutoCAD Revit Structure Suite as they become available."

If I understood your reply to another user you are saying that Revit Structure Suite license holders will only receive Revit Structure in 2014 so you've essentially stated that Autodesk is lying to it's customers. What about the other product(s) that we've been getting with the suite? In Revit Structure Suite 2010 Autodesk's online documentation stated that it consisted of 3 programs...Revit Structure 2010, AutoCAD 2010 and AutoCAD Structural Detailing 2010. My AutoCAD 2010 was on a separate disc and is recognized as AutoCAD by Autodesk. However, in the 2011, 2012 and 2013 versions of Revit Structure Suite Autodesk only provided a disc for Revit Structure and a disc for AutoCAD Structural Detailing...that's 2 products, not 3! Now Autodesk has discontinued Revit Structure Suite, Revit Architecture Suite and Revit MEP Suite and you're telling customers that they will only get (1) product (the Revit product) from now on? What if we primarily use another product...like AutoCAD? How presumptuous of Autodesk to assume it knows better than it's customers what product we really want. I bought 3 products in the 2010 version, Autodesk took one of those out in the 2011, 2012 and 2013 versions and now you're taking another one out. Sell me 3 products and end up giving me just one? Sounds like fraud to me!

I'm furious at Autodesk and can't believe that I'm not seeing more complaints from other license holders of these suites that have been discontiued. Does Autodesk really think that current license holders on subscription contracts will pay to renew their subscription AFTER you've just informed us that we will no longer receive new versions of the products we purchased with our suites?

For all reading this, what's really happening here is Autodesk wants you to move into one of their Building Design Suites that have several programs more than what we've been receiving and you'll probably be offered a sweet (suite) deal to make the move into those suites. What they aren't telling you is that the subscription costs of these new suites will be twice what you've been paying! We all deserve to be provided the upgrades to the products we've paid for. Whether that means individual licenses for each product that our suite (originally) came with or a package that contains ALL our products in one suite...makes no difference to me but Autodesk should fullfill it's obligation to it's current license holders. We've done nothing to deserve this sort of arrogant unilateral decision making by Autodesk. Let US decide what products we want and what we don't want. What gives Autodesk the right to decide for us!

I see where you are interpreting what I said, but that's incorrect. So to clarify:  If you have one of the "old" suites, you will continue to get ALL the products that were in that suite.  At this point, from what I've been told, is that there is no "end date" for this.  You continue to ge tthe same products until you decide to change to something different.  You just can't buy them any longer.

Thank you for clarifying that, Scott, but I remain sceptical with the wording on the website..."when they become available". Can you say, without a doubt, that current license holders who are on subscription will receive a 2014 version of their suite's products? My subscription is up for renewal in September and you're the first Autodesk representative who has given me even an inclination of what I may get in the future.

I wish i could make "guarantees" about the future, but I'm just not in a position to do that. I have no idea about what we will do with 2014 products.  I can only comment on the current release, which is that you will continue to get your "suite" products as long as you are on subscription.

Why am I not surprised that you're retracting your statement in the last email? You said there was no end date for us getting new versions of our discontinued suites in future years and now you've changed your tune. So we still have no idea if we'll get new versions of the products we've paid for yet Autodesk wants us to renew our subscriptions just in case Autodesk should decide to actually fullfill it's obligations to it's current license holders. If we renew our subscriptions it's a complete gamble. If we don't it's a sure thing we'll never see another product release.

If Autodesk can't truthfully say what the benefit would be for renewing subscriptions for these discontinued Revit Suites they should, at the very least, waive the fee for our subscription renewals until such time that we can make intelligent and informed decisions. Currently Autodesk is just leaving us all in the dark and feeding us BS!

No need to reply again, Scott. I'm sure I've gotten you into enough trouble with your employer already.

If anyone else feels as duped as I do right now please make your voice heard...otherwise just bend over and take whatever Autodesk decides to give you!
