adding large pipe/valves to revit model

wondering how others are adding large scale piping to their revit models. Just beginning to work in revit building pumping stations, so I need to add 12" and larger fittings up to 36". Is there an add-on to revit structure to do this or is revit MEP the way to go? Just curious.

Revit Strcutre won't be able to draw pipes since Pipes are System families that belongs to Revit MEP ony. Fitting will be created autoamtically in MEP when you use the piping system.

If it is just a small presentation for piping, the best way is to use massing or beam that looks like a pipe and for fitting you need to create them.

Here is what Revit MEP could answer to your question (It is the full Revit version where it includes Revit STR, ARCH and MEP)
