Does anyone know of a way to create structural connections with node points? I would really like to be able to add brace connection points to structural connection components. That way if I move a connection then my braces would stretch automatically. Any thoughts on how to accomplish something like this?
This would call for an advanced family with arrays for bolt location and formulas to control spaces and all. However, there are addins that can do this for you but I'm not sure about the cost. One is SDS/2 connect. Another option would be to transfer you model to ASD or to Graitec (Bought by autodesk recently).
