When I click on code check it says to download code from Autodesk Exchange. I cannot find any structural codes on Autodesk Exchange. What is the purpose of the structural code check it there is no way to use it?

The Structural Analysis and Code Checking Toolkit 2014 for Revit 2014 is not a ready to be used code checking tool - it is a platform for 3rd party developers to provide their solutions on top of Revit. If there aren't any already, I would suggest continuing to check back on the App Exchange for codes to be posted.

I hope this helps!

Where is developer information for the toolkit. What if I want to extract information for design myself or develop apps?

Hi

What is installed with the “Structural Analysis and Code Checking Toolkit for Revit” is actually a framework that makes Revit ready to host structural analysis result and to drive Code Checks directly from BIM models. It does not deliver any specific country codes out of the box, though, and we expect those codes to appear in time to fit this framework and the structural design practices that it determines.

Starting with this newly released framework for the first time and with an approach for Revit, being open to host customized codes implementation delivered by 3rd parties, it is going to take some time before we will start seeing them available from the Exchange App website, though

I hope this explanation helps and it is fair to you. Please let me know if you need any other information.

regards
