HI! I'm relatively new to Revit but have been studying for over a year now & have had my first intro course. I am trying to create a simple structual Grid. Frame with Wide Flange beams. I want to set up a parameter based model that I can go in & change the beam sizes as well as the lengths of beams. This will be at ground level. I have tried creating a family with "Reference LInes" then I set up length parameters for these lines. I loaded into my project but nothing is visible! I have checked all of my visibilty settings & all seems O.K. I wanted to be able to activate steel beam & pick my reference lines to load them. Is this the wrong way of going about this! Or is there an easier way.
