I know its very early to ask this question... Do you think there will be an effect with regards to compatibility of previous model done in Revit Structure 2008 if I open if to the new Revit verison which is the revit structure 2009?

We are planning to buy a new license but if it will affect our RS2008 models we will stick to RS2008.

I hope Autodesk will give us information with regards to this matter.

Regards,

If you open a Revit file in a new version (2009 for example)
it will be upgraded, and you will no longer be able to open it in the old version (2008, for example.)

Revit has always been this way.

Hope this helps,
Joe
