Point Clouds in Revit

Hi 

I need help regarding point clouds in Revit.

Is there any add-in that i can download or any other software that can automatically create "3D Solid" from a point cloud.

We get point clouds that are impossible to create accurate models manually.

Is there is anyone who can give me tips or advice on point clouds..

It might not be possible at this time but  we have a project in the labs that helps with "Point Cloud Feature Extraction":

Point Cloud Feature Extraction for Autodesk^® Revit^® 2012 software is a free* technology preview that allows you to work with point cloud more easily in Revit. This plug-in automatically extracts useful geometry features from point cloud of buildings and creates basic Revit elements to aid the building modeling in Revit.

Hi

Thank you... i have downloaded that add-in into revit.... the 32-bit is working and the 64-bit is not working for some reason.

This app is a good start if you are doing simple buildings... but i have to do complex structures and the add-in does not work on the stuff i have to do... (see attachment)

I still need an more complex add-in to do whatever i want it to do...

But that add-in is not to shabby.. like i said... a good start....
