Importing an AutoCAD file

when i try to import a dwg file in File -> Import, the following error message appears:

Some elements were lost during import. ActiveX and some propietary components cannot be imported. Try exloding the file in AutoCAD, or setting PROXYGRAPHICS to 1.

how can i solve this? (the proxygraphics have been set to 1 already)

Thank You!!!

This is telling you that the entities in the AutoCAD file were drawn with some sort of external program, Visual Basic reoutine, ect. and Revit has no way of knowing what this items are.

Try opening the Autocad File, selecting everything, and exploding it. Then purge the file. It should import then.

I didn't use any external program.... what i have drawn are simple lines and 5 layers... i haven't got any blocks... so i can't explode it... how to purge the file?

i have tried using an exist DWG file which is importable into Revit, when i re-save that DWG, the same error occurs...

(I am using Revit Structure 2)

Why still on RS2? Subscription is mandatory for Revit products, there's no
reason to keep using an old one.
