What kind of work do you do? The Revit platform is different from AutoCAD based software. Here are some links to basic tutorial videos that might give you a better idea:
You can do a search on YouTube and you'll find a lot more content. There is an Autodesk YouTube Channel, or you can take a look at one of the many user-created videos that are great too.
It would probably be a good idea to contact your Reseller too to see if they can help show you benefits you could find using Revit Structure.
Mainly earthworks on which other infrastructure is built and although I'm unlikley to use Revit in anger, I'd like to know what it does and how it could be used e.g. visualization etc.
Thanks for the links, I'll check them out

Neil, In our case it will only use aditional space on your hard drive and memory if open.
It has no real benifit to Civil 3d (ground / highway) whatsoever, It handles / creates surfaces like a 3 y/o child colours.
Import your model as a surface and it is simplified and no longer displays anything useable (no breakline functionality).
The only possible crossover could be Retaining walls but then again I tend to design them in Civil3d corridor models from polylines as it's less hassle.
So unless you are both a civil & structural engineer "under the one hat" not much you can do with it apart from open look at it and close it. Navisworks is better for that.
