Hidden rebar in structural plan

Dear all

I want hidden rebar for slab in structural plan 

In rebar slab I draw as method tool AREA and PATH 

please see picture

There are many things that could be causing this.

 

First, make sure that the view is a hidden line view.

Then, select the Area/Path Reinforcement boundary, and in the property palette, Press the "View visibility States" "Edit" button.

For any views that you do not want the rebar visible through the host, uncheck the box next to the view name in the “View Unobscured” column.

2d rebar or line tool will do--do not model all rebar as this will impact your model file performance -Good luck.

Hi,
If you're using revit 2013 or 2014 you can actually host rebar in the slabs. This was not possible earlier. First you need to make sure that the reinforcement settings (General) is checked for hosting rebar within area and path reinforcement). 2nd, after placing the area reinforcement you will see the symbol, but you can select the area reinforcement, and from the ribbon, select remove area system. That should host all rebar in the slab.
