Grip Size

I just started using Revit Structure 2012 and I noticed that the grips appear to be extremely small.  Is there a setting in the options that I have not found to change the size?

Unfortunately there is no setting to control the size of the grips in Revit.

I am sorry for any trouble this causes to your workflow. If you would like to see this enhanced in the future, I would suggest providing comments and a business case at the Feedback Site.

I apologise for replying to an old forum discussion so many years later but since this is where Google search (REVIT + GRIP SIZE) has led me it seems prudent to address it here since no doubt someone else will do the same as me.

Has there been a subsequent provision to adjust grip sizes of items, for instance the grip arrows of the 3D section box and so on?

I could not find anything under Revit options.

It's not just a case of being able to see the grip (I can) but it is quite frustrating to try and grab hold of the items at times without the focus moving elsewhere and the grips consequently dissappearing.

Having come from an AutoCAD / ADT background it seems that some abilities have been lost especially when editing in 3D (although there are benefits in other areas).

Kind regards

Paul

Responding to an old thread.

AutoDesk really needs this in Revit

some people have less then 20/20 vision.

This really would be beneficial. We have a detailer who will be needing eye surgery soon. In the meantime, some way to help him see the grips woud be extremely helpful for him. He already has other stuff set to high contrast and larger-than-normal sizes. Is there any way I could access that grip size through the Revit API? Dynamo? Macro? Anything?

How is still not implemented in 2017?

Autocad has stopped evolving years ago and even that has grip size and color controls. Working on a 4K screen (also, why is there no proper support for those?), its sometimes impossible to find the grips quickly.

Ten years later and still no change. Absolutely unacceptable.

Early 2023 here....you'd think by now the Autodesk Monopoly would have enough global industry funds to hire an intern to make it possible to scale grip edits....you know...like how CAD had it since the dawn of time! Simple and effective for those in the industry which clearly Autodesk does not hire NOR listen to as we continually BETA TEST (at our expense) the ever shoddy Revit.

Any fix to this yet? 4k monitors are here to stay - probably the biggest contribution to eye fatigue for those who use Revit full time... crazy.
