Floor beards

Kan anybody teel me how to make floor boards or planks. They have to be separate units and free length and width. They shall be placed in the room just picking the walls.

If you really need to model each plank separately, I can think of a few approaches:

-Use some kind of a non-joining beam element (see the precast plank elements for an example)

-Create generic Models in the Floor category to represent your floor planks.

-Create a floor, and then use sketched divisions to create parts out of the floor.

All of this is very manual though.  To automate it, you could use the API.

What are you trying to accomplish, though?

I am trying to help a customer, who wants a layout of beards, which is their
main product. They have to get precise drawings of each plank - count them
and so on.
