Exporting to Navisworks

Guys

I'm very new to Revit and wish to export a model into Navisworks.

Any suggestions would be very helpful.

I've used Navis with 3d+ but not Revit...

Go to your 3-D view in Revit and export as a DWG file. You can open that file in Navisworks.

Hi

If you have Navisworks JS installed on your computer re-install it and select modify then you can select the Revit Structure 2008 plugin.

This will add the Naviswork Export to the tools menu under external Tools.

Ive had a few problems with this with regard to scale and origin (unless you have set up shared coordinates) so exporting as a drawing maybe better.
