Exporting from REVIT to DWG issue

Hi,

I've got a problem and i hope that someone will have a sollution for it. When i export a sheet from revit to a dwg format  some of the elements are exported as block while others as normal lines ( for example. one column is exploded and others are blocks). Why does this happen and what can i do to change it in a way so that every element is exported as lines (exploded)?

When exporting a 2D view, all of the columns should be exported as blocks. You could do a QSelect in AutoCAD after to select all of the block entities at once and explode them but unfortunately it is not possible to modify that in Revit before exporting.

Ok i've found the solution to my problem after all.
You can modify that by checking 1 option in the family category and parameters, namely: always export as geometry. And that does the trick. After that , the family you check that option in will export as exploded.

Can you be more clear? I am having issues with Exporting a Structural floor plan from Revit (Same Universal column families with different sizes). Some come into Cad as blocks, others as lines!! There doesnt seem to be a logical answer....

According to my tests, there no relationship between the family check box (always export as geometry) and that revit exports the column exploded or a block.

It's related to whether u are joining the column with other elements or not, specially the walls. U can do that experiment yourself, draw a col. and a wall, 1st export them like that, then join them together and export them again u'll notice that if u joined them , the column will be exploded.

Is this some option that has since been removed from revit? Cus i dont see any option to export as geometry in revit 2017
