Export layers set by material

When exporting to AutoCAD from Revit, I would like my steel columns to be put on S-STL-COL and S-CON-COL for concrete columns.

How would I set my export layers file?

"File->Import/Export Settings->Export Layers DWG/DXF"

It's a long list but if you do it a lot it is definitely worth going
through it and testing it until you get what you want.

Thanks Matthew, but that doens't quite answer my question.

I know where the files are and how to load them and modify them. My problem is that I don't want my columns to be on the same layer: I would like them to be split by material on different layers....
