Column Cut and Join

HI.. All...

If we use the slope slab and try to attach the top of the column with the slab, I t wil not attach perfectly. I can not find the column top edge is pefectly with the slab bottom. If slab is inclined then cloumn top edge should be inclined. But it comes as a horizontal.

Hi, maby i dont understand correctly....but..

 

I will give you my "work-around' which i use....

 

De-attach the top of column and rather give is an top off-set... to intersect the slab 

 

Then create an reference plane at the bottom of the slab...

 

Cut the column geometry by reference line...

 

Concrete columns can be joined... unless the materials are not the same...
