Beam tag??

I need help. I am trying to create a beam tag that has " & L" after the beam size. Any help would be much appreciated. I was trying to create a custom parameter but I am not sure if I am missing something or that it can not be done. I am thinking more of that I am missing something

Hi. This should be fairly easy. When you create the label go to the edit label dialog and add the prefixes and suffixes you need which may be simple text or may be other parameters.

Hi,

Well, supposing you are not going to create any shared parameters you could do the following.
1- Edit family for tag
2- First Label = type mark, Prefix = B
3- Second Label = Mark
4- Save as new tag and load.
5- For each floor create a new type for the beam, Say B400x500-1
6- In type properties, input 1
7- In instance properties, input 1, 2, 3, ...
8- In second floor create new type, Say B400x500-2
9- Repeat Process

Hi,
Not sure I understand, but for design, I use several different software depending on the project itself, and the client requirements.
However, I use mainly Robot Structural Analysis.
Other good tools may be used such as S-Concrete.
