Yes you can detailing in Revit it has all the tools you need to put Reinforcement into your concrete structure. It also allows you to create bar bending schedules within the model. It does depend on which version you are using though as the tools have been enhanced over the last few releases, so I would recommend you use 2015.
I havent had any major issues with ASD it works fine for me.

You don't need extensions for rebar schedules.
Standard Revit can do this but you have to make your own schedules (quite easy).
