We start a new sheet template, then link in the DWG file, delete what
isn't needed, and convert the rest to Revit items wherever possible. We
usually run into problems with custom logos, etc (PNG graphics files
work best in Revit), and with font styles (Revit doesn't like shx
fonts). Regardless, we are generally successful in recreating the
architect's borders in Revit, which we have found to be best practice in
our office.
