Auto-videos from Ribbon freeze on screen

Every time I point the mouse on a ribbon to show me the short clips, the pictures freezes on the screen and never goes away. I can't do anything cause that video or pictures is on my way. I looked in the hot fix and updates but nothing seems to work.

This is an issue with the Flash Player that is used to display the tooltip videos within the ribbon. (This is with r2012)

You can kill the Flash player through Task Manager without restarting Revit.

- Start Task Manager

- Open the "Processes" tab
- find the process named AdFlashVideoPlayer.exe *32
- Highlight the process and click the End Process button

You can turn off the tooltip videos by adjusting the tooltip settings, too:

- ClickOptions.

- Go to the User Interface tab,

- Click the Tooltip assistance dropdown 

Choose either "None" or "Minimal" and the second-level tooltips that contain the videos will never display.
