what is and how to use inherit at duct works?

 

There is a command "inherit" at revit mep 2012 that i dont know is potential in whatr and how to use?

 

I think it shall help me in some problems in an actual job....

 

I am designing duct work and i have some levels without roff associate jus for indication of ceiling levels, the revit get confused and place air terminals in wrong place!!!!

Inherit is similiar to the using the space bar. It inherits the "properties" of the connector you are connecting into. I just use the space bar.
