sketch 2-D path in Solid Sweep option

Hello,

could you please tell me hoe to draw a 2-D path in front, right, left or back view??

right now i am able to draw 2-D path (Solid Sweep Option) only in TOP VIEW.

Please help

You need to set the work plane before you can
sketch the path.  See attached screen shot.  It is Revit Architecture
but the button should look the same.
