purge & audit

Is there any way to do a purge and audit in revit like we do in autocad.

Yes.
For audit....
-Open a new session of Revit
-Choose File/open from the dropdown menu
-Check the Audit box just above the open button

also read the audit entry in the help file.

For purge....
From the file menu choose 'purge unused'.
