interference Check, not picking up Steel linked rvt.

Hi All

i have a steelwork model that has been exported out to a rvt file, and ive linked it into our services model, but the interference check isn't picking up the steelwork model, the infererence option is seeing the steels as it should in its own file, but not when linked.

Any ideas what im doing wrong?

thanks for any help.

Try importing the file into a Revit Family, and then loading that Family into the Project.

Cheers for the option CADastrophe, ive not tyed it though a found the problem.

i was linking the steels into the building model and then linking the building model into the services model.

so ive linked the steels staight into the services model, and all is working.

i guess revit mep only pickups up the one direct link.

Cheers

Guy
