Can I set Revit MEP 2008 to only use Even sizes of duct? I ran the duct sizing on one of my runs and I get sizes such as 14"x11" etc. I do not want that, anyways to have the sizing calculate only even sizes?
I looked in the settings but could not find the location.
You need to edit the DuctSizes.xml file (It should be located in C:\Program files\Revit MEP 2008\Program by default) and remove all the odd sizes (this is easily done with notepad). If you want to keep the original file in Revit MEP under the mechanical settings\Duct Settings change the Duct Sizes File setting to match the new file name & Location
I have removed the odd sizes from my xml and have loaded it back into a project. Now I can't get my fittings to work. The layout option or autoconnect will not work. What am I missing?
