duct schedule show total of each duct type

i created a duct schedule but am only able to list each duct section with length etc. (see attached)

what I want is a duct schedule that totals up all the 8"round etc. (for pricing purposes). i tried to change allt he "srting/grouping" options but didn't succeed.

i don't want the contractor to see 124 pices of 8" duct, but want a total number of total lenght for each type

Create a Duct Schedule with the following fields:
Family and Type
Size
Length

In your duct schedule properties, uncheck "Itemize Every Instance" under Sorting/Grouping. I sorted by Family and Type, then by Size. Then in the Formatting tab, under Length, check Calculate Totals.

I think this is what you're looking for.
