changing associated levels

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the associated level of ever object in a view? I have a job that the associated level was lowered therefore dragging all my equipment with it. I want to select everything in the view and associate it to a new level that corresponds to the actual floor elevation.

This is a little tricky to try to explain, but here goes. Items that are NOT hosted by an object (like a roof) can be changed from one level to another (mostly). Select the items, family catagory by family catagory. Then on the edit menu cut, then Paste Aligned/Select Levels by name. This should do the trick. Hosted Objects cannot be done that way, unless you are also doing the oject(s) that host the items you want to change the level of.

Will this also change the duct associations?

Since I'm an Architect, I'm not sure if Duct work is is affected in the same manner. Try it, and let us know.
