Why we can't do detailed parametric families products for use in Revit?

Like HVAC apparels with parametric curves and blends (always have trouble with the constraints)....It makes me very angry with it.... Some basics like dimensions between two lines, and one of the lines between the level... Never work for me... Why?

It is possible to make some pretty intelligent parametric families, but one must learn to do it how Revit wants it to be done. Have patience, and ask as many questions as you would like here. What are you attempting to accomplish at the moment that we may be able to help you with?
