Whats the best way to with a model..

Hello,

We have an upcoming MEP project & will be working with another engineering

firm from out of town. As I understand it we will be working on six (6) floors

and the other firm will be working on three (3) floors.

Has anybody been in this situation before?...How will we & they connect

to ductwork/pipes etc. What's the best way of approaching this?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've not been in such a situation, but be aware that one cannot connect elements or systems between a host model and a linked model. One method of coordination would be to use Copy/Monitor (which is imperfect). Below is a link to a thread with more information on this matter.

Copy Monitor - Loaded Type Has Been Renamed
