Space and room issues

I am working in a project that is linked to an Architectural model. I noticed that there were some vertical space bounding issues. The spaces for floors above although looking to be correctly bounded (even in section view) are apparently taking room names from the floor below. (ex. what should be room 303 is called room 203, etc.).

Would this be related and could this be an issue with linking? Edited by: rpolk on Nov 3, 2008 5:59 PM

Check to see which level the room belongs to in
properties. Also any bounding object will effeft the vertical rooms or spaces.
This means if you have a room on the first floor say and a room on the second
floor which is open above and the 2nd floor slab cuts into the room it will cut
the room object?  A good place to test this out is a stair well the runs up
through the building.

Did some more checking and everything should be correct with the space constraints. I discovered by turning on the rooms in the section view that the rooms from the linked architectural model extend beyond the given level and overlap. I've tried adjusting the space so that the base offset is above that of the protrusion with no help. Is there any way to fix this without having the architect change their rooms?

Unfortunately space are heavily dependant on the arch rooms. If theirs are not correct yours will not be correct.
