Section Box to big- is there a way to do something like "Zoom to Fit" ?

Hi all,

I got to big a Section Box relative to the model I work on.

Is there a way to do something like "Zoom to Fit" ?

I think of a solution that can be activated if one gets into this unwanted situation and all you have to do is to check a checkbox or something similar.

I suppose that the "Crop View" and the "Crop Region Visible" and the "Annotation Crop" could use a same solution type, if they get to big by accident.

Thanks you,

Michael

  • You can Orient to View by Right clicking on the view cube in a 3D view and that will size it automatically to a specific view such as a level, etc.
  • You can got into a plan view and right click on the 3D view in the Project browser and Show Section Box. You can then adjust the grips to the correct size. The same works in sections to control the height.
  • You could create a scope box and assign the 3D view to that scope box. It will automatically size itself to the extents of the scope box.
