Room Names

The architect has room names in his drawings and when we made our central file everything was copied over what was suppose to be copied over, but the room names do not show up. In the annotation tab under vg the room tag box is checked (that is the layer that the architect called it) but it does not show up in our drawings. Any ideas if I need to check something else or go a step farther?

You'll either have to place spaces that read the room name/number, or set your linked arch file to a view that has the room names visible (under VG settings -> Revit links)

Often times what we have had to do is go into the Arch file and determine a good ViewTemplate to use. Then back inside of the MEP project, VG to the Revit Links and set that ViewTemplate rather than have the Host control the view.
