Revit to PDMS

We have a client that would like piping designed in/for PDMS. We have AutoCAD, and Revit. I've been searching the forums and the internet, and can't seem to get a concrete answer.

I've seen people posting that .dwg and .dxf files can be imported to PDMS. What about an .fbx file?

Thank you in advance for any assistance!

PDMS as in Aveva PDMS?

While I have not been using it myself, I only needed to export from PDMS to other formats. I doubt it can accept formats such as fbx. Only basic CAD formats work, I guess. Though, I found as an export from PDMS, the RVM format (requires an PDMS add-on) creates Navisworks-compatible files.
