Revit MEP Hidden Lines not working in a linked file

I have two Revit Mep files. One called BASE MODEL which has all the mechanical systems modeled. The second¨called CONTROL MODEL has sheets, views and the BASE MODEL linked into it.

In my CONTROL MODEL views, I want to show the BASE MODEL crossing ducts pipes with hidden lines. Even though I activated the Hidden Lines option from the MEP Settings the crossing ducts and pipes from the linked Base Model are not showing properly. I opened the Base Model and crossing pipes and ducts do show correctly there. I also tried modeling two crossing ducts in the CONTROL MODEL and they also look correct.

Can anyone help me with this? It seems to be a problem on linked files...

Check the Discipline setting of the View in the CONTROL MODEL. Sounds as if it may be set to Coordination. Set it the same as the View in the BASE MODEL.
