Revit MEP 2014 PDF Vector Prints & Hard Prints Missing Details/Hatching

Hello, we're having a problem where some of the details/hatching attached to certain families (in this case, electrical equipment) is not coming through on sheet plots.  It's working when we PDF plot a RASTER PDF, but when we plot a VECTOR PDF, they don't show up.  As well, when we plot paper sheets direct from Revit, it does not show.

The other strange thing is that it is not consistant.  Some instances of the exact same family are not showing the detail, and some instances are - even in the same view.

Just to rule out some of the obvious potential solutions:

- Consistant View Templates are used for all views

- Not an issue with the PDF plotter, as the problem happens when we plot sheets directly from Revit (no PDF's created)

Anyone else have this problem, or have any ideas on how to fix it?

We had a similar problem & it was a circular / odd shaped hatch pattern.
We fixed this by instead of having one hatch to define the area, break up the area using multiple regions.

This is a revit processing issue. Been that way since version6.

They are lazy about fixing this rastering.

Have you checked you have correct graphics driver and an Autodesk certified graphics card. I have seen this issue occur with on board graphics cards not certified or tested by Autodesk and the similar issue occurs both printing to PDF due to the processing of the Vector.
