Revit 64 bit vs. 32 bit

We recently installed a Vista machine with the 64-bit Revit on it. All other machines in the office are using XP as the operating system and Revit 32-bit. We've noticed that several things aren't functioning the same but since Revit MEP isn't as developed as the architectural version I wasn't sure if it was due to the different versions or not. Is anybody running a job like this? Should we make sure that we don't use different software packages on the same job? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

I also need to know what the issue is here. If I save a central file with 64 bit MEP how will this effect seats that are 32 bit reading this file.

We are also using it in a mixed environment and I must say that it is working quite well.

where were you able to obtain the 64bit Revit? My company has been trying to find it for weeks. We're on subscription so I should have access to obtain this anywhere its located.
