Hello all,
I was curious if there was any way to rename a shared parameter through API? Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Check out "RevitTV Shared Parameter Manager for Autodesk Revit" from Revittv.com, does exactly what you want

We have the code wrote to do this, but when we try to execute the program, we get an error that says "Cannot rename the shared parameter." How did you work around this? Any help would be appreciated. I attached a copy of the error we are getting.

Is your Shared Parameter File read only? If not I'd suggest contacting RevitTV directly - they are normally very responsive.
