Plumbing not listed in the Properties/Discipline

In the project I am working on, plumbing is not in the Disciplines list in the properties dialog box. I normally switch to plumbing when viewing in 3D it turns everything but plumbing objects into hidden. 

I notice plumbing is not in the list. How can it be included in the list, does it matter?

Plumbing wasn't added as a discipline until Revit 2013 I believe. You'll have to create it as a sub-discipline of Mechanical.

I had to go back to an earlier version for an old project and noticed that. I was feeling left out..
