HI
I'm trying to create a Plumbing Panel Tank where by useing shares parameters I can customize the tank size.
I've had some sucess by drawing one panel and using the array command and this works perfectly for tank whole metre sizes.
The problem is that i need the option of showing half panels as well as whole panels.
I'll attach the file.

G'day zeralot,
Have you thought of creating a model pattern of 1m squares, use that as the surface pattern in a material, then apply that material to the basic solid? I have modified your family using this method and attached it here, see what you think.
Also just a tip, I notice that you have not really used reference planes at all in this family, apart from the original refernce planes. While not entirely necessary these days I still maintain it is good practice to use reference planes in your famillies. I like to get the reference planes moving with the dimensions first then create my solids and lock them to the reference planes.
Thank you.
I had thought of creating a hatch pattern but coudn't figure out how to do it.
Thanks for the tip, i'm still figuring out referance planes and how they work, as i'm self taught on Revit.
I forgot to add with model patterns you can define their origin point by using the align tool on one of the patterns lines. So in your family I had to align one of the vertical pattern lines to an edge.
