Revit 2013. Our firm is trying to make the pipe fittings in Coarse view smaller than they appear. When we switch from Fine to Coarse, they display very large in plan view and even overlap other piping fittings that are close to one another. ie. When I change a 1/2" pipe fitting from fine to coarse, the plan view turns the fitting into the size of a "basketball" and we would like to know if there is a setting in Revit 13 to make the corase symbols display smaller than the default setting?
Thanks
Yep. Go to Manage tab » MEP Settings ▼ Mechanical Settings, and to Pipe Setting via the navigation pane on the left. There is a parameter called "Pipe Fitting Annotation Size" in which you can globally adjust the single-line symbol sizes. Note that there is also separate parameter for "Pipe Rise / Drop Annotation Size".
