So I am totally have a brain fart.... I have my note block tag set up and my schedule set up... How do I place the tag?
The only way I can find is through the project browser - families - and create a tag from there - there has got to be another way that I am just not remembering...
Can you help!!!

If the Tag is a Category-specific Tag, you can hit the keyboard shortcut - "TG" by default.
If the Tag is a Multi-Category Tag, that uses a separate command. I don't recall if there's a default shortcut, but it's easy to define one.

That is just it - it is not tied to a specific category - it is just a generic annotation.
If I have to tie it to a category - not sure which one to tie it to since it is just for general notes - does that make sense?
On the Annotate tab, there is a command "Symbol", which places Annotation elements. Use the Type Selector to change it to the correct family while the command is active and it should remain as the default symbol. The method I typically use is to create one and then use the Create Similar command to create additional instances.
That was totally it!!!
I just could not remember how to get those in - thank you!
