Modifying Settings for Revit Links in Revit 2013

Hi,

I am very new to revit usage and was trying to link an architectural model drawn by me in revit 2013 into a new project using Revit Mechanical Template. The link was succesful and I created new floor plans which was fine. However when I tried to change the new floor plans to use architectural view template via visibility graphics. The dialogue box I get is non editable. All the radio buttons on the revit link i.e. by host, revit link, and custom are all greyed out. I have struggled for days to change these setting to become edittable but couldn't.

Can anyone help please? I have attached a page to see the revit link dialogue box.

The most likely reason is that a View Template is assigned to the current View, which will prevent certain changes from being made to the View's settings. With the View open as the active window, you can change the template to 'none' under Properties which will allow you to make any changes that you want.
