Labels

Are the labels on the electrical devices suppose to be able to rotate so
they are not upside down in the plan
if so how?
if not why not?

You can try this:

1. Place a wall drawn north-south, and another wall east-west.
2. Place a three-way switch on each side of each wall.. the text on the south side and the east side are 'upside down'.
3. Select the switch, and click edit family.
4. In the switch family, select the Label (the "T"), and click Edit Family.
5. Select Family Category and Parameters... from the Settings menu.
6. Check the Keep text readable option.
7. Load the Symbol Label family into the Lighting Switches family.
8. Load the Lighting Switches back into the Project where you drew the two walls.... now the text on the south and east sides of the walls are 'readable'.

Yes...believe it or not some people like them to remain aligned with the face of the wall at all times. How many is "some"? Havent' met them all yet *-)
