Is there a way to hide something but keep it tagged?

Is there a way to hide something but keep it tagged? Its an odd request Im sure but I really need this to work. I tried making it invisble (transparancy 100%) but the boardering projection lines still show through. Is there a way to hide the projection lines as well? I tried changing their color to white, but that is uneffective in this applicaiton as well.

Use the Linework tool and pick <Invisible Lines>. The tag should stay there.

This is working, but it seems like I have to double click on every single line that I want invisible. Is there a way to do it in a mass selection? Thanks!

If you tab-cycle through the selection, you should be able to select the whole object at once.
