Is Systems intended for residential use?

Hi,

Are there any Systems electrical and mechanical families available for residential use? All that is included in the library is
intended for commercial use, and the tutorials are all geared for large office buildings. We do single/multi family modular units,
is this program even intended for this application?

Will there be any tutorials coming out for residential housing? A tutorial on how to add connectors to our existing library of
families would be most helpful.

This initial release of Systems seems intended mainly for commercial, if there is a demand will future releases address a
residential need?

Just curious, have you evaluated Chief Architect? Its the program that was
copied by the guys that built Revit.

I have heard of it, but never seen or used it, although as a long time ACAD user I have demo'd a lot of different programs. Cadsoft
"Build" was the closest I ever found that would provide what we needed for the manufactured home industry.

I can understand that Autodesk wouldn't want to put a lot of effort into an area that weren't sure would be in demand, so my post is
to provide input that there is interest in that area. Anyone else?

Actually, the guys that created Revit came from an engineering background,
and worked for Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) the makers of
Pro/Engineer. Revit was completely new, built from the ground up, and was
never a "copy" of anything out there. If anything, it's more closely
related to Pro/E instead.

Chief Architect preceded Revit in the marketplace, was being marketed in the
trade shows and was the software that everybody began to emulate and copy --
for architectural applications -- Revit was a knock-off in that context.
